Above Penticton, a few short walks from the Garnet Fire Interpretive Centre lead to excellent views down into Ellis Canyon. A couple notes on the interpretive centre. There is no centre or interpretation of anything. Just a parking lot.
For a longer walk, it is possible to keep heading along the canyon for several kilometers (but there is no straightforward loop so it is back the way you came).
