We love visiting our friends Ryan + Daphne who live in the quiet village capital of Prey Veng province. They have a cambodian style wooden house complete with garden, fruit trees and pig stalls. More at ryandaphne.typepad.com.

This visit we decided to bike 80km round trip to Ba Phnom, which in the wet season means fording streams, battling leeches, and following trails that end in lakes.
